To the editor: As the November midterm elections near, the scare tactics over COVID and Monkey Pox are heating up. Look for the national media, the local media, including this newspaper, and all of the Democrats to start their fear tactics to keep you locked up and away from voting in person so they can manipulate the election process. In other words, cheat!
We, in this nation, are facing real problems that have been created on purpose to rid us of our freedoms. And, I must say, their plan has been working to perfection and we as fearful Americans have played right into their plans.
Let’s start with the totally unnecessary fear over COVID. I am sorry for those who succumbed to COVID. However, it is important to look at just how dangerous COVID was to the general public. The statistics show that less than 1 percent of the folks who got COVID died. And most of those who died were over the age of 78. Yet the media and the politicians used COVID to almost destroy our society including bankrupting millions of small businesses, and we allowed them to do that to us due to fear.
Fear destroys freedom and we cannot allow them to do that to us again. We cannot allow them to close our churches. We cannot allow them to stop us from shopping in person, stop us from eating at restaurants in person, or frankly allowing the state or federal government to ruin our lives.
Say no to lock ups.
Say no to destroying us as free people.
Sometimes peaceful civil disobedience is necessary as freedom does come at a price.
