To the editor:
Guns, guns, guns – that’s all the left-wing woke liberals think about. Well, Mr. C, I would upset your apple cart or gun cart today, but I feel sure your mindset is as rigid as a metal power pole.
However, I have never heard of a gun killing anybody. My late husband loved to hunt pheasants in Nebraska. But when he called, he would say “I killed two birds today.”
Never once did he say that his gun killed them. He kept his Glock on his bedside table and his Winchester shotgun standing in a near corner. Thus far, they have never killed anyone.
My premise is that until we get a grip on mental illness, drug addiction, homelessness, this trans stuff, etc., we will always have killers. But you all don’t seem to be alarmed about butcher knives, hammers or rented Ryder trucks killing people. Of course, they could not kill by themselves.
And what about people being pushed into the subway in front of a train? No gun there, just meanness or mental illness. One of our main problems today is the lack of God in every aspect of our society.
