We are reclaiming our time. Congratulations to Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson on becoming the first African American woman to serve on the Supreme Court, and the “most qualified judge” to ever hold office.

As an African American woman, it gives me a sense of great pride, love, and honor to know that my family and I are able to witness this historic moment. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson’s lifetime appointment on the Supreme Court shows brown boys and girls in this community and around the world that they too can accomplish anything.
