Rep. Clyde is sorely mistaken

To the editor:

Today I received an email from our duly elected member of the House of Representatives, Andrew Clyde, in which he declared “Joe Biden is the most corrupt president in U.S. history.”

I am disgusted with Clyde, this partisan hack, who cannot see the truth when it slaps him in the face. The House Oversight Committee unveiled a report that showed that there has been no incriminating conduct from President Biden, or members of his family. Yet Rep. Clyde claims the exact opposite, and is using our tax dollars in his communications with constituents to spin the story in the opposite direction, and perpetuate a supremely sorry canard about dishonesty in the family of a genuinely competent president.

Really, Andrew? The most corrupt in history? Oh no, you’re off by one number of oval office occupant – 45, not 46. The former guy, the twice-impeached, once (so far) indicted, the defamer of women, the inciter of convicted seditionists who committed the greatest crimes upon our nation’s capitol since 1812. In his effort to woo the people who, for reasons I cannot understand, remain loyal to a man who is loyal only to his overblown ego, Andrew Clyde has perjured himself in communications with his constituents. He is not worthy of representing our goodly portion of beautiful northeast Georgia. I long for his ignominious defeat in 2024.
