To the editor: My child was the one airlifted from Clarkesville Elementary on Wednesday. I’m reaching out because I would like the school and Habersham EMS, Sheriff’s Dept, Clarkesville Police and Air Life to be recognized.

In going though this I have learned that Clarkesville Elementary and their staff have really great measures in place that I feel should be spotlighted. I also want to recognize that their quick response as well as the response from EMS made a difference for my child.
