When will enough be enough?

To the editor:

Christianity has been under attack since the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The large majority of the attacks on Christianity have been of a violent, invasion type nature.

An example was the attack by the Moors on Constantinople in 312 AD. Had not Emperor Constantine and his small army turned back the assault, Christianity more than likely would have been badly curtailed. In 732 AD Charles ‘the hammer’ Martel turned back an Arab army of immense strength or Europe would now be Muslim.

The above battles were to point out that Christianity has mostly been attacked with physical battles and not the type of dangers Christianity faces today.

In my opinion, the danger Christianity is facing today is much more dangerous than at any other time since the beginning of Christianity.

Let me point our that Christianity is being attacked through the scriptures of the Bible.

The teaching of the Bible that has been the role model for the most successful society for over 2000 years is now described as being hate instead of love. The supposed new love that the movement supports has no rules to follow and is based on a “ME” culture that supports “anything goes,” no matter the consequences to society in general.

Those who wish to continue following a more Christian traditional lifestyle are being described with disgusting labels if they disagree with any insane ideas the new culture proposes.

What we are dealing with is a movement that does not want any religion or rules and will go to any length to destroy anyone or any idea they do not approve.

As many of you know, free speech is not allowed on many internet sites. The media is clearly on the side of the new culture. Conservative and traditional speakers are shouted down in many institutions of higher learning.

Truths about corruption in our government or elsewhere involving their “chosen ones” are not being covered or reported.

Unfortunately, a large number of mainline Christian Churches have chosen the “World” over the scriptures and the decline of morality in these institutions will also speed up the decline of America.

Can this decline be defeated? Yes, it can be defeated. When will this happen?

Only when God has had enough!
