To the editor:
To give you an example, I have seen in the news for over two or more years, street racing in Atlanta and the people in authority keep trying to decide what to do about the problem. Along with the word why comes the word what.
What is the problem? Arrest them and confiscate the car. But there are a lot of places to ask WHY; here is one, why are we seeing all the push for electric cars? Here is something you probably don’t know or will not even believe – 100 MPG, yes there is a way to get over 100 MPG and it was proven several times. The first was back in 1936 by a man in Canada, another was an American by the name of Tom Ogle. He had his 1970 Ford getting over 100 MPG, and then back in the 1950s there were some cars that competed in Shell MPG
test and they got around 100 MPG, and along with 100 MPG the emissions were greatly removed. So why the big press on electric cars, and also how are they going to recover all of the road tax money that is gotten from the sale of gas & diesel fuel?
Did you know that California gets right at $1 per gallon of diesel in tax money? You see or hear some of the things that are happening in our world, are you asking WHY is that happening? I think we all need to ask a big WHY and also demand the truthful answer.
