To the editor: The Republicans who claim they are for family rights now are for controlling women’s rights because they need the religious right votes even though it is about 30 percent of voters. Women who had a stillbirth are forced to carry the dead fetus which could cause her an infection that has many side effects like death or not being able to have another pregnancy.
Because of these new laws she can not get a D and C and be forced to carry a dead body/fetus.
The Republicans want to force all 10 year olds that are raped to raise a baby while in 4th grade. Who is supporting the baby and the 10 year old while still in school?
Also any women who were raped or too poor or too sick to have an unwanted baby with no help to raise that child or the danger of death to the mother because she is too poor, sick or the father is nowhere to be found.
No mention of abortion in any bibles, and if the aborted fetus cannot live, if it was aborted or a natural miscarriage then why is the government or courts deciding not the mother or her doctor? Who agrees with me that if abortion is illegal that all men should loose their rights too and should have a lie detector test with one question, did you ever have intercourse or rape anyone even your wife then he must pay a portion of his income to support all unwanted children including their education until the children are 21.
Men would then understand that women should be in charge of their own reproductive system as men would never vote for fairness to their need to help raise unwanted children.
