Habersham Central’s boys and girls basketball teams made it double regional sweeps on back-to-back nights.
Both the boys and girls basketball teams picked up a region win against Winder-Barrow last night. The girls rode an electric 20+ point first quarter to a close out a 51-48 win. The boys won by a 69-65 thanks in large part to 20+ scoring nights from Osmar Garcia and Bryce Pittman.
Against Central Gwinnett Friday night, the Lady Raiders had no trouble cruising to a 63-27 win over the Lady Knights.
The Raider boys got a fight from the Black Knights and held off a late surge to win 68-66 and defend their home court.
