Despite notching a win in its last match against rival Habersham Central, Tallulah Falls couldn’t continue its momentum in its home opener last Thursday.
In their first match against Class 4A No. 5 Jefferson, TFS fell in three sets.
Sarah Jennings led TFS in the first match, with a team-high five aces and nine kills.
In the second match, Cherokee Bluff swept TFS 2-0.
Again, Jennings led TFS with eight kills and Katy Corbett contributed five more.
With the losses dropping their record to 2-9, TFS was back in action Tuesday night against White County and Lakeview Academy at White County. See the Aug. 28 edition of The Northeast Georgian for results.
