Gov. Kemp extends COVID-19 social distancing rules

   Gov. Brian Kemp moved Monday to extend social distancing rules for businesses and stay-at-home orders for the state’s most vulnerable populations another two weeks amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.    The governor also plans to extend the state’s public health emergency until Aug.

    The Habersham County Board of Elections and Registration on Saturday evening discovered 19 ballots that were stuck in the voting machines from the recount of the District 4 county commission race from the June 9 election.
