Roy Jasper Lingerfelt

Funeral services for Roy Jasper Lingerfelt, 84, of Clarkesville, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 23, at Hillside Memorial Chapel.  Interment will follow the service at Yonah Memorial Gardens, Demorest with military honors provided by the Grant Reeves V.F.W. Post No.

Patricia Louise Bow Lee

Funeral services for Patricia Louise Bow Lee, 76, of Scottsville, Kentucky were held Monday, July 20, at Harwood & Strode Funeral Home. Burial to followed at Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Mrs. Lee was called by her Lord to her heavenly home Wednesday, July 15, 2020.

Horace Chuang

No formal services are planned at this time for Horace Chuang, 86, of Demorest. Mr. Chuang, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 16, 2020. Horace was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired math professor with the Albany State University.

Quenten L. Loudermilk

Burial services for Quenten L. Loudermilk, 97, a resident at The Pearl at Five Oaks in Simpsonville, South Carolina, will be at Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson County, South Carolina at a later date.   Mr. Loudermilk passed away peacefully Saturday, July 18, 2020.

Jim White

A celebration of life service for Jim White, 75, of Clarkesville, will be announced at a later date. His wishes were to be cremated. Mr. White passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020.  Born Sept. 10, 1944, in Moline, Illinois, he was the son of the late Lowell and Ruth White.

Sheila Fay Wilber

A memorial service for Sheila Fay Wilber, 61, of Baldwin, will be planned for immediate family and close friends in the coming months.   Mrs. Wilber passed away peacefully at home Thursday, July 16, 2020, after a six-month battle with lung cancer.

Max J. Stiarwalt

Funeral services for Max J. Stiarwalt, 59, of Alto, were held Monday, July 20, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with the Rev. Scott Ledbetter officiating. Interment followed in the Alto Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery. Mr. Stiarwalt went to be with the Lord Friday, July 17, 2020.

Ethel Pauline Nation Arrowood Freeman

Ethel Pauline Nation Arrowood Freeman, 93, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020.  Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 21, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart.  Interment followed in the Arrowood section of Blue Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Brian McNair

Officer Brian McNair, 53, of Clarkesville, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020. A memorial service will be held at a later date for OFC McNair. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peach State Bank & Trust, McNair Family, c/o Hall County Sheriff’s Office.

Sylvia Wheeler

Sylvia Wheeler, 66, of Demorest, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020. Mrs. Wheelers wishes were to be cremated and a private family viewing will be held. An online guest register is available and may be viewed at mcgaheegriffinandstewart.com.
