Thomas Reginald “Tommy” Burnsed, 73, of Clarkesville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019. Memorial services are 11 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Dr. Craig Ward officiating. There will be a reception immediately the service following in the church fellowship hall.

A celebration of life for Robert John Berghel, 85, of Clarkesville, is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 6, at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Gainesville. A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 10 a.m.

Lawrence D. Kinder

A memorial service celebrating the life of Lawrence D. Kinder, 94, of Clarkesville, will be held Friday, Nov. 29, at the Grant-Reeves VFW Post 7720, 423 VFW Post Road, Cornelia, GA 30531 at 2 p.m. followed by a private burial.  Mr. Kinder died Nov.13, 2019.

Glenn Calvin Knight

A celebration of life for Glenn Calvin Knight, 87, of Lawrenceville was held Sunday, Nov. 24, at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with the Rev. Grady Walden and the Rev. Curt Frederick officiating. Interment followed at Gwinnett Memorial Park. Mr. Knight passed away Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019.

Clifford Louis 'Cliff' Sandoz

A celebration of life service for Clifford Louis "Cliff" Sandoz, 69, of Demorest, was held Saturday, Nov. 23, at Hillside Memorial Chapel in Clarkesville, with Deacon Richard Marinchak serving as celebrant.  Mr. Sandoz passed away Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019.

John Ellis Pye

John Ellis Pye, 91, of Cumming, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019, at his residence.  No formal services have been planned. Habersham Crematory of Cornelia is in charge of arrangements. 

George Lee Compton

George Lee Compton, 69, of Cleveland, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, at his residence following an extended illness. No formal services are planned at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Homes, South Chapel, Baldwin.

Carlos Christo Morales

Carlos Christo Morales, 17, of Baldwin, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 20. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 25, 2019 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Cleveland, Georgia. Interment will follow in Level Grove Cemetery.

Jessie Faye Collins Ward, 78, of Mt. Airy, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019.A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at Gethsemane Baptist Church. Arrangements in the care of Hillside Memorial Chapel, Clarkesville.
