Lady Raider volleyball eyes key region games Tuesday

    Habersham Central’s volleyball team fell to Dawson County on Tuesday night and was awarded a forfeit win over Flowery Branch, which did not compete.

    Stat leaders against Dawson on Tuesday included: Allie Church (7 kills, 5 digs); Abbey Donaldson (1 ace, 1 kill, 16 assists, 6 digs); Callyn Chosewood (3 kills, 5 digs); Landrey Pike (4 kills, 2 digs); and Amayah Dooley (11 digs).

    The Lady Raiders (15-10) had another shot at Dawson on Thursday night after press time at home along with a match against Cherokee Bluff.

    The Lady Raiders play host Shiloh and North Forsyth in a key road match in region play on Tuesday, Sept. 27. They are 4-4 and in fourth place heading into those matches.
