Raider hoops teams battle in state playoffs

Habersham Central's girls fell 73-43 to Sprayberry in their first-round game on Tuesday night. The Lady Raiders trailed by 9 at halftime but could not close the gap in the second half.

Habersham finished the season 17-10.

The Raider boys took on Kell six miles down the road later Tuesday night and lost 81-66 after keeping it close for three quarters.

The Raiders finished the season 15-14.
