Rebel Challenge returns for 9th year

The 9th Annual Rebel Challenge was held on Sept. 9 at South Habersham Middle School. The Rebel Challenge is a series of obstacles that students must navigate to reach the finish line. Throughout the challenge, students encourage and push each other forward to complete the course. This year’s course was approximately 1.4 miles long. Some of this year’s obstacles included the sponge toss, water slide, hurdles, hay bale climb, walk the plank, tire flip, mud pit crawl, and slip-n-slide. Pictured is SHMS eighth grade student Caden Free navigating the mud pit crawl. Thank you to all of the faculty, staff, and volunteers who made this event possible. Thank you to Jacky Addison, John Krippner, Habersham County Fire Department, Life Church, and North Georgia Ink for your support as well, along with the support of all of the parents and families who came out to watch the students participate in this event.
