   The man involved in a shooting in Gwinnett on Friday was not wanted fugitive Henry Parker Whitley, as law enforcement officials initially released the wrong name to media outlets.

Arrests made in Cornelia arson

Four suspects were arrested in a mobile home fire in Cornelia that the state fire commission determined was deliberately set. The fire started around 10 p.m.

Emergency training

Habersham County Emergency Services hosted an Auto Extrication with Traumatic Injury Treatment training led by Rescue Redefined on May 20-22. This training was focused on increasing patient care and included staff from six surrounding agencies.
