The U.S. Justice Department Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has now provided a database of every pain pill sold in the nation by pharmacies, manufacturers and distributors, as reported by The Washington Post.

6 agencies bring men into custody

Two men are in custody after leading local law enforcement on an hours-long chase Thursday afternoon, an official confirmed. Lt. Matt Wurtz, public information officer with the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), confirmed for The Northeast Georgian the men were captured around 1 p.m.

In early April, a Cornelia mother allegedly killed her 3-month-old daughter. Now, the city of Cornelia has erected “safe haven” signs at facilities where mothers can safely leave newborns they don’t want.
