Clarkesville BSA Troop No. 5 member Mitchell McGahee has completed the restoration of a grave at the Old Clarkesville Cemetery. The Eagle Scout project for McGahee has aided the mission of the cemetery to restore and preserve this historic landmark.

Senior Center’s Redbirds hold annual meeting

Habersham County’s Senior Center’s Redbirds, a body of officials who’ve gathered once a month to discuss elements of coordination and planning at the facility since the early 1980s, again held its annual meeting last week.
