Whether it’s enjoying a cozy fire in a lakeside cabin, fishing the icy waters or hiking on a trail, winter is great at Northeast Georgia’s lakes. Lake Living magazine is looking for photos that represent this beautiful time of year at the lake.

Investigators still piecing together Collier's murder

   The attention to Deborrah Collier’s murder has spread nationally – and even internationally – because of its bizarre nature, but Habersham County Sheriff’s Investigatrors said Friday that they do not expect a quick answer to the puzzle.

Better safe than sorry, county eyes Ian

St. Paul the Apostle festival coming Saturday

St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Cleveland will again hold its Fall Festival on the church grounds starting at 10 a.m. and extending until 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1. Beginning in 1974, the Fall Festival continues to grow with new features and many surprises.
