   Companies all over the U.S. are backing out of projects as the price of steel continues to rise. In Habersham County, the price of steel is affecting the airport’s ability to move forward with its long-awaited T-Hangar project.

   Despite using a fifth-inning rally to erase with Winder-Barrow’s early lead, the Raider baseball team was unable to knock off the nationally-ranked Bulldoggs Tuesday night, falling 6-4 on the road.
The English Language Acquisition program was started by Jim Miner, a retired teacher, several years ago to help those in the community to better communicate with others. Front row are teacher Brad Meredith, program director Alfredo Jacobo and teacher Maria Lourdes Jeronimo. In the back row are students Virginia Ortega, Sibilina Salinas, Nellida Resendiz, Maria Ernestina Olguin, Alicia Roque, Martha Trejo, Maria Lourdes Zavala, Ana Irma Garcia, Guadalupe Ramirez and Viridiana Morales.
