Baldwin names chief finalist, approves downtown townhomes

Just over seven weeks since the resignation of former Interim Police Chief Matt Nall, the City of Baldwin has named a finalist to likely fill the vacant police chief position just a few days before the city’s eight-week deadline.

Cornelia probation takes different approach

Georgia has the largest probation population in the nation with nearly 420,000 individuals under misdemeanor and felony probation.

County budget passes at $54.7M

Canning plant remains one of few in Georgia

According to Amy Crump, an agriculture teacher at Habersham Central, around 150 to 200 families will visit the Habersham Canning Plant, canning everything from tomatoes to stew before the end of October.
