Allen, 67, of Turnerville died Feb. 3 after 37 years of working for Habersham County, but she was perhaps better known for her dedication to pets in the area.

COVID-19 positive cases dropping in Habersham County

Cases of COVID-19 in Habersham County have dropped to their lowest levels since Nov. 15, according to data from the Georgia Department of Public Health.
On Monday, the seven-day moving average for positive cases per day dropped to 11.
