There are no public services for Mr. William Herbert Edwards (Herbert), 90, of Clarkesville, planned at this time to help control the spread of COVID-19.

    Funeral Services for Bennie Smith, 87, of Clarkesville, were held Monday, Sept. 20, at Hillside Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Austin Kelley officiating.

   A celebration of life for Tommie Joe Rice, 73, of Lula, will be held at a later date in Anderson Flat Cemetery, St. Joe, Arkansas.

  Mr. Rice died Sept. 14, 2021.

   Edna Lois Allen Black, 88, of Gainesville, formerly of Demorest, will be laid to rest following a private family Celebration of Life service.

   Funeral services for Geraldine Rebecca McElhannon Hart, 78, of Cornelia, were held Tuesday, Sept. 21, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Kevin Hart and the Rev.

Mrs. Gloria Ann Hayes, 90, of Braselton passed away Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton, surrounded by her family.

   Funeral services for Frank M. Kinney, 93, of Clarkesville, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with David Terrell officiating.

Graveside services for Jean Green Bieder, 93, of Cornelia, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Yonah Memorial Gardens with Elder Silas Ford officiating.

Memorial mass for Philip Henry D'Entremont, 96, was held Tuesday, Sept. 21, at Saint Mark Catholic Church in Clarkesville. Interment followed the service in VFW post 7720 Memorial Park.

James "Richard" Morris, 89, of Baldwin, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021. Interment will be held at the BC Grant Baptist Church Cemetery.
