Spring Lake Living cover contest underway

Northeast Georgia lakes are surrounded by beauty year-round, but spring is one of the most beautiful times. Lake Living magazine is now accepting submissions for photography reflecting that beauty, which may be featured on the cover of the magazine’s spring 2022 edition.

You can’t always get what uou want, but you can get an evening of great music when the Night at the Ritz Series returns with “Street Fighting Band: the Ultimate Rolling Stones Tribute” on Saturday, March 5, at 7 p.m. at the Historic Ritz Theatre in Toccoa.

Mother-Daughter Brunch serves up inspiration

A first-ever Mother-Daughter Brunch hosted by the middle school faculty and staff at Tallulah Falls School celebrated the elemental love between a parent and a child.

Piedmont University presents swashbuckler ‘The Three Musketeers’

Where can you see swashbuckling sword fights in a tale of love, loyalty, honor and treachery, right here in Habersham County? That would be Piedmont University’s production of “The Three Musketeers.

Hundreds of thousands of people lined the streets of downtown and Midtown Atlanta Friday as the World Series-champion Atlanta Braves held a massive parade.
