Despite a damp afternoon and unseasonably cold temperatures, the Raider football team took the field Wednesday night to conclude its spring practice schedule with its annual scrimmage.

HMC unveils new wall to honor pandemic heroes

Habersham Medical Center is moving forward in new and unique ways, partly by honoring health care workers who came up with innovative ways during the COVID-19 pandemic to take care of patients.
Clarkesville Mayor Barrie Aycock is all smiles at the 2019 Mountain Laurel Festival parade. The event returns Saturday to mark the first major public gathering since COVID-19 hit last year. “I’m very excited, I think it’s going to be tremendous. We’re going to have a beautiful day and lots of folks coming. I can’t wait!,” Aycock said Thursday.
