Gymnastics teams headed to Savannah

The North Georgia Twisters gymnastics team saw two teams place at the Georgia AAU State Championship held April 30-May 2. Both teams will compete again in the AAU National Championships June 23-27 in Savannah.

After earning the third playoff appearance in the program’s history, the Habersham Central’s baseball team raked in some postseason awards this week, as three Raiders were named to the All-Region team.

Anderson signs to play golf at Piedmont

Wednesday afternoon, Selah Anderson became the latest member of her family to create ties with Piedmont University, as she signed to continue her golf career there beginning next year.  “I love Coach [Susan] Martin. She and the girls there are super sweet,” Anderson said.
