At the end of a brutal three-week Spartan race, Habersham Central’s Raiders scaled that last wall with undaunted purpose.

Habersham County Commissioner Tim Stamey will get a full four-year term in office after a landslide victory in Tuesday’s general election.    Stamey got 16,382 of 19,691 votes (83.2%) to easily outpace Democratic challenger Mike Adams (3,309 votes).

Habersham Central homecoming postponed

Raiders take on Lanier at home Friday night

The third leg of Habersham Central’s ironman triathlon comes Friday night, when Lanier comes to town for another big Region 8-6A game.     Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. at Raider Stadium.
