Grads ready for final walk

   The greatest Day of the Raider on the calendar has arrived once again.    Tonight at Raider Stadium, 488 graduates from Habersham Central High School and the Success Academy will walk the stage and see their high school experience culminate in style.

Voters make their choices

   Election Day arrived Tuesday, and decisions about Habersham County’s future were on the line in multiple races.    A majority of the county commission faced opposition for their seats, as eight candidates vied for three positions on the board.

WWII hero Negra honored in two places

   VFW Post 7720 in Cornelia held a celebration Monday for Andy Negra’s 100th birthday, which falls on the day following Memorial Day this year.    Negra, a World War II veteran and field artillery Sergeant, spoke at the event, “The only thing I want to say is thank you very much.

School zone cameras fund public safety needs
