Richard Alston Kimsey, 85, of Alto, passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022 of natural causes.

Richard was the last of nine children of Isaac Melvin Kimsey and Nell Iona Huff.

A memorial service for Dan Gerrells, 68, of Cornelia, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, in the chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with the Rev. Garvis Kinsey officiating.

Johnny Wayne Wade, 66, of Alto, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at the Alto Congregational Holiness Church cemetery.

Funeral services for Edith Mae Ayers Duncan, 95, of Alto, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 13, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with the Rev. Robert Nix officiating.

Funeral service for Ray Emory Thompson was held Saturday, July 30, at Beck Funeral Home in Clayton.

A private family memorial service will be held for Dianne Briggs Gallagher, 77, of Cornelia.

Mrs. Gallagher passed away Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022.

Willie Joe Lunsford, 86, of New Liberty community, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced soon.

Funeral services for Watson Lamar "Boots" Pitts, 76, of Mt. Airy, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, in the chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with the Rev.

A service for friends and family of Martha Lily Adair Daley, of Clarkesville, was held Monday, Aug. 8.

Mrs. Daley passed away peacefully at home Aug. 3, 2022.
