Funeral services for Linda Kay Dodd, 60, of Mount Airy, were held Saturday, July 2, at Hillside Memorial Chapel in Clarkesville. The Rev. Bill Trotter and the Rev. Scott Slaton officiated.

No public services will be held at this time for “Bob” Congdon, 90, of Clarkesville.

Mr. Congdon died Tuesday, June 28, 2022.

Francis Arthur “Fran” Aurora, 83, of Cornelia, passed away Tuesday June 28, 2022. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 1, at St. Mark Catholic Church in Clarkesville.

Graveside services for Jerry Lamar Nunn, 73, of Clarkesville, will be held Sunday, July 3, at 3 p.m. at Hillside Gardens Cemetery.

Funeral services for James Edward 'Jim' Gant Sr. will be held Friday, July 1, at 11 a.m. at Helen First Baptist Church. Pastor Jim Holmes will officiate.

A private family service for Thom Parrish, 92, of Demorest, will be held at Habersham Cemetery.

Mr. Parrish fell asleep in death Tuesday, June 28, 2022.

Sharon Denise Sears, 50, of Belton, South Carolina, formerly of Banks County, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022. A visitation service will be held from 6 until 8 p.m.

Marcus Jesse “Pete” Chastain, 75, of Clarkesville, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 25, 2022. Funeral services were held Monday, June 27, at Hillside Memorial Chapel.
