  A memorial celebration of life will be held for Agnes Godfrey Nichols, 95, of Clarkesville, at Clarkesville United Methodist Church, officiated by ministers Keith Cox and Jan Devereux, at a later date following her wishes.   Mrs. Nichols went home to be with the Lord Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021.

  Funeral services for Lincoln Malcom Burgess, 5, of Alto, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with the Rev. Johnny Johnson and the Rev. Scott Ledbetter officiating. Interment will follow in the Wade Family Cemetery in Alto.

Janet Taylor Parker

  Following the wishes of Janet Taylor Parker, 91, of Clarkesville, the family welcomed friends Saturday, Oct. 30, at Macedonia Baptist Church with a graveside service immediately following.   Mrs. Parker went home to be with the Lord Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021.

Jeffrey Louis 'Jeff' Holbrook

  Memorial services for Jeffrey Louis "Jeff" Holbrook, 61, of Recluse, Wyoming, formerly of Clarkesville, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at Clarkesville Church of God with Pastor Tim Tanner officiating.   Mr. Holbrook passed away Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021.

Andy Lee Kastner

A funeral service for Andy Lee Kastner, 63, of the Wildcat Community, was held Tuesday Nov. 2, in the chapel of Beck Funeral Home with the Rev. Joey Thompson and Kyle Watts officiating. Burial followed in the Roane Cemetery.   Mr. Kastner passed away Oct. 30, 2021.

Kathyrn Lanning Holland, 81, of Anderson, South Carolina, passed away Monday, Nov. 1, 2021 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, at Salem Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
