Richard Dale Mayo Sr., 74, of Demorest, passed away Sunday, Feb. 22, 2021. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, at Hillside Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the service hour Wednesday.

Funeral services for Patricia Brewer Savage, 85, of Demorest, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with the Rev. Ed Brewer officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.  Mrs. Savage went to be with the Lord Monday, Feb. 15, 2021.

John Alec Preece passed away Jan. 19, 2021, in Demorest. Born Jan. 21, 1948, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Helen R. Preece and Dr. Alec A. Preece. In addition to his parents, John was pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Susan Barber Preece.

Helen Casciano, 102, of Clarkesville, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021. Born March 28, 1918, in Syracuse, New York, she was the daughter of the late Rosario and Maria Santa Porcaro.
