Keep supporting school bands To the editor: It has come to my attention at least one school is planning to cut time for band practice next year. Please don’t let this happen. I am a livid sports fan and have coached through the years.

Big week upcoming for county

As March dawns, we face a crucial week in Habersham County’s history. The filing period for local elections runs from Monday to Friday next week, and with three seats up in the Habersham County Commission, decisions made this week could well affect this county for decades to come.

Not a big fan of the Left To the editor: I am so disgusted with the politics of the total morons that are leading the left down the path of socialism (communism) if I wasn’t on oxygen that I couldn’t breath.  When the feeling kicks you right in the gut, you know something is wrong.
