The COVID-19 crisis has affected every aspect of our society. As folks sit in their homes – hopefully obeying social distancing guidelines – they are constantly searching for information on this developing situation. Unfortunately, there is a lot of false information being shared.
The biggest question on everyone’s mind is when we will get back to what we call normal life.
All the models say that social distancing must continue longer to slow the COVID-19 outbreak, but others have wondered how this will affect our long-term economic health.

Because you cared
To the editor:

Letter from your doctors
To the editor:
We are medical professionals serving Habersham County and are asking you, the residents of Habersham, to exercise strong social distancing and hygiene practices in order to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
The Northeast Georgian is your community news source, and we are here to keep you informed in times of war and peace, prosperity and despair, and most importantly, in sickness and in health.
We love to bring you all the good news – and sometimes the bad – twice a week, every week.
Panic is really a coup
To the editor:
I am not a conspiracy buff by any means. However, this Coronavirus story is looking like a huge travesty forced upon our country to remove a duly elected President. Not everyone will agree, but just read on and look at the facts.
