   U.S. Sen. Kelly Loeffler finally accepted an invitation to debate in the race for the final two years of the Senate term she took over for the resigning Johnny Isakson, but it was not the debate one of her chief opponents was looking for.

Local family wins $99K on ‘Don’t’ game show

   Graham Williams and his family just have that game show energy that you cannot create artificially.    Graham and three of his siblings went on the new summer ABC game show “Don’t” on an episode that aired Aug. 13 and came away with $99,000.

A Toccoa landmark is about to receive new life, as the Broken Bridges area in Toccoa is set to become a focal point of a 10-mile waterway trek. Broken Bridges over the Tugaloo River arm of Lake Hartwell has been a landmark along the Georgia/South Carolina border for well over 140 years.
