Anthony Iacobucci named Jimmy Williams Courage Award winner

Arnold Meeks inducted into ROH

From an early age, Arnold Meeks knew he would one day be a football coach and on Tuesday, after decades as a long-tenured fixture in the sport of football, Meeks was inducted into the Habersham County Football Ring of Honor.

Future Raiders Soccer Camp enjoyed by area youth

Budding soccer stars of all ages got their chance to learn from the best in Habersham County this week as the Habersham Central High School (HCHS) soccer program held the Future Raiders Soccer Camp in Mt. Airy.

Pratchard earns ROH induction

Dexter Pratchard is no stranger to being honored for his service and hard work and will see his efforts on the football field rewarded Tuesday as he is inducted into the Habersham County Football Ring of Honor in a ceremony at The Orchard in Clarkesville.

Spirits high at Lady Raider Cheer Camp

Campers had a lot to cheer about July 16 as the Future Lady Raiders Cheerleading Camp got underway in the Habersham Central High School (HCHS) gymnasium in Mt. Airy. Kathy Ausburn, HCHS cheer coordinator, said she and her staff were expecting around “90-plus” girls to take part in the camp.
