The youth of Habersham County are being stalked by a silent predator, and leaders from all walks of the community are working together to try and stop it.

A new package store will be coming to Cornelia after approval of a conditional use permit by the City of Cornelia Commission during its meeting on Monday night.

Three for 3: Smith to take on Tench

A third candidate has put his hat in the ring to be the next commissioner for Habersham County District 3. Jason Smith, a local engineer and veteran, announced Monday that he will challenge incumbent Commissioner Jimmy Tench and challenger Jimmy Dean for the Republican nomination for that seat.
