FBI warns of new fake police scam

FBI Atlanta is warning the public about a phone scam where individuals are posing as university or college law enforcement officials by calling potential victims regarding outstanding warrants or fines against their children and asking them for payment.

TFS’ Moree earns region player of the year honors in baseball

Seven Tallulah Falls players earned distinction as all Region 8-A DI players. Frankey Moree headlined the group, as he was named Region Player of the Year. Moree, a senior, was 1st Team All-Region, and he was joined by junior Rohajae Pinder.

Demorest wall to be fixed, nearly 3 years later

After almost three years, what’s one more week? The repairs to the wall on Central Avenue in Demorest were set to begin Monday, May 2, but they will be delayed a week due to a desire not to disrupt Piedmont’s graduation ceremony. Piedmont’s spring graduation is set for 1:30 p.m.

Residents look for answers in Harvest Church project
