The Toccoa Falls College Jazz Band and Toccoa Jazz are bringing their much-anticipated yearly collaboration, Jazz at the Ritz, back to the Historic Ritz Theatre for a free concert on Friday, April 1 at 7 p.m.

Wilbanks tapped for HCHS Lifetime Achievement Award

Marlan Wilbanks, a member of Habersham Central’s 1979 graduating class, has been selected as the recipient of the 2022 HCHS Lifetime Achievement Award. Wilbanks graduated from the University of Georgia in 1983 and the UGA School of Law in 1986.

Highways littered with wrecks Monday

A Cornelia man was taken to the hospital following a serious motorcycle accident in the city on Monday afternoon. According to Cpl. Larry Ray of the Georgia State Patrol, Post 7 Toccoa responded to a request made regarding a vehicle collision at around 12:45 p.m.
