Raffle for $10K, dinner at Habersham Central The Habersham Central High School Athletic Department is hosting its 9th annual raffle, steak dinner and silent auction. The event will be held Saturday, March 19, in the Habersham Central High School Cafeteria, doors open at 5 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m.

Celebrate cows’ homecoming Saturday

The pasture across Highway 17 from the grounds of Hardman Farm State Historic Site is home to the iconic gazebo topped mound and also to cattle about 10 mounts a year.

County pays $120K for temporary airport FBO

Habersham County has hired FBO Romanair, a company which manages operations at Winder’s airport, as part of a 90-day contract to fill the void left by Blue Sky Aviation, which terminated its contract with the Habersham County Airport earlier this month.
