New runaway teen reported, while search for Tomlin continues

The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is currently in search for two endangered runaway teens, as a second unrelated case was reported this week. HCSO welcomes any information to help find the following individuals.

Habersham County Jail referendum Fails

The Habersham County Commission will have to seek a new avenue if they want to fund a new jail. However, no alternative plan seems to be in place at the moment and jail operations will continue running as they have been.  The unofficial results of the Tuesday election report 52.

Search continues for endangered runaway teen

Habersham County Sheriff’s Office is still in search of Mays Arthur Tomlin, 16, of Mt. Airy who has been reported missing since Oct. 19, 2019 according to HCSO Public Information Officer Matt Wurtz. Tomlin’s location is unknown and it is unclear as to what state he could be in.
