Focus and action

A vision for the old courthouse property in Clarkesville is a boutique hotel. Last month, the Clarkesville City Council decided to get a better focus on that decision by agreeing to pay  Horwath HTL $15,000 for a downtown hotel feasibility study.

In October, we wear pink. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to build awareness and educate about the disease.  Starting today, we are helping spread awareness and featuring the stories of survivors.

There’s something good happening in Habersham County. People are coming together in support of our children to help them grow into our future leaders. They are building strong character and a strong future for our community. And, they are working to lift our kids now when they need it most.

Go Raiders

It’s finally here. The Raiders football season opens tonight at home, and it’s a big one – Stephens County. Our boys are excited, and we’re excited to see how our more experienced Raiders match up against a young Indians team.
