Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the forum will not be open to the public. However, it will be live streamed through The Northeast Georgian's Facebook page.

Habersham Emergency Services first responders helped a woman get out of her car Sunday morning after she ran off the road.

A woman drove off the road at Orchard Road and Arrowhead Sunday morning and ended up in the water. She was rescued from the car and flown out to North Georgia Health Center for treatment.

Hoyt Ausburn, former chairman of the Habersham County Republican Party, passed away Sunday. In 1992, he helped bring President George H.W. Bush to Cornelia.
