Father of three stabbed to death in Mt. Airy

   A Toccoa man was stabbed to death late Saturday night in a Mt. Airy home, leading to Habersham County’s first murder charge of the new year.    EMS personnel tried to resuscitate Joshua Matthew Canady, 37, on the scene but were unsuccessful.    Kayla Marie Parker, 31, of Mt.

   Habersham County will once again take the lead for the state of Georgia on a pilot program to create a child abuse task force to make sure children get protection and justice.

   It is halfway through January and State Route 365 continues to display that it is one of the busiest roads when it comes to accidents.     A two vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of state Route 365 North and Crane Mill Road Tuesday at 5:24 p.m.
