Betty Sims Gunn, 81, of Baldwin, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020, following an extended illness. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with the Rev. James Gunn officiating.

Richard Earl “Penny” Hopkins Sr., 76, of Rabun County, passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 30, 2019 at home in Clayton after a series of extended illnesses. A memorial service to honor Mr. Hopkins’ life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at Mountain City United Methodist Church.
