Fritz Crytzer: Calls, texts, Internet, oh Boy!

They call it scam. They can’t, won’t, and refuse to correct the problem. Politicians, Democrats, Republicans, and Trumpublicans all refuse, can’t, and won’t do anything to correct this scourge of this Country’s evil, immoral dilemma.

Thanks to North Habersham Middle School for a wonderful celebration of Veterans Day. I am a staff member there and a Veteran of the US Navy with 22 years of Naval Service. I walked down the main hall with my head held high the day of Veterans Day.

Reading a recent letter from John Hagan in which he stated, “America is not a racist nation” I had the increasing realization that in our country we have a deep lack of knowledge of what the effects of systemic racism are and even what it actually is.

I still remember the voicemail, four years later: I have some bad news. You need surgery. I’m scheduling appointments for you with two surgeons first thing next week … Four years later, I still haven’t had surgery. Next week, that changes.

Thank you, veterans

The biggest faux pas of Memorial Day is when folks try to say “Happy Memorial Day!” Their thoughts at that time of year are on barbecues and a day off from school or work, but the occasion is not a happy one. It is meant to honor those who have died for our country in a somber way.
