The numbers say it all. Exactly 2,270,930,196 prescription pain pills distributed from 2006-12 in the state of Georgia. And approximately 12,857,876 prescription pain pills distributed in Habersham County during that same timeframe, enough for 43 pills per person per year.

Be aware of 1st day of school

Summer for our local students will come to a halt next Wednesday as the 2019-20 school year begins. And with a new school year comes many firsts and lasts. The first day of school for our kindergarteners and the beginning of the last year of high school for our seniors.
