Positively excellent: Kelly takes state award

Georgia announced its Positive Athlete statewide award winners last week, and Tallulah Falls School’s Collin Kelly received statewide recognition for his ability to see the light in adverse situations both on and off the field.

Dooley shares knowledge of hoops, faith with youth

Go to nearly any gym in Habersham County where a basketball game is being played, and it would be no surprise to many to see Shamir Dooley inside.  For Dooley, basketball has been a passion of his for a long time.

Summer spikes at TFS

The 12U Lady Raider softball team narrowly missed making the state tournament, finishing third in the GRPA District 7 Tournament last weekend. Softball teams show well at district tournaments

Habersham County sent two teams to the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association (GRPA) District 7 Tournament last weekend and walked away with third and fourth-place finishes.
