TFS girls eye shot at state title

After winning their final regular-season match on May 6, the Lady Indians feel confident heading into next week’s state tournament.  “I think it all comes back to confidence. We know God’s got it, so we’ve just got to trust in Him.

Lady Raiders look to make waves at state tournament

After winning the Area 2-6A tournament nearly a month ago, the Lady Raiders golf team is now preparing for its final test of the year at the state tournament next week.

Despite a damp afternoon and unseasonably cold temperatures, the Raider football team took the field Wednesday night to conclude its spring practice schedule with its annual scrimmage.

Raiders, Indians send 22 track athletes to state meet

Seven Raider athletes punched their tickets to the state track meet, as they took top-eight finishes at the sectional meet Saturday in their respective events.  Six from the men’s team punched tickets, with Garrett Heaton and Andrew Kivett both qualifying in two events apiece.

Raiders to scrimmage Flowery Branch tonight

Habersham Central’s football team takes the field tonight for the first time since November for its spring game against Flowery Branch.  The Raiders finished the 2020 season 6-5 overall and 4-2 in region play to finish third and make their second playoff appearance under Harrison.
